Mt. San Jacinto College Audio & Video Technology program can help you with a career in music, broadcasting and video production.

The home of our program is the multi million dollar MSJC music building. Our facility features five studios, four independent control rooms, radio station, and a music computer lab.  The MSJC program features both hands on and theoretical instruction. Plus, students train with the same professional equipment the audio and video industry uses with names like Soundcraft, SSL, Yamaha, Protools, Lexicon, OTARI, and QSC. Video equipment from Canon, Sony, Arri, any many more. Mt. San Jacinto College is fully accredited by the state of California.

MSJC's audio technology program is also inexpensive! The amazing $20 per unit* is lower than any private school, with a similar program. Get a certificate with only 18 units or get an AA degree ( About 60 units) in Audio Technology.

What Does the Program Cover?

The MSJC Audio and Video Technology program is designed to produce entry level employees for the recording and post audio industry, live sound, television and film production, and radio broadcasting. Recording and mixing techniques for both music and video are featured in the program, as well as foley, MIDI recording and music software, digital audio editing, and music background courses.

Mt. San Jacinto has one of the finest programs of its kind in California. Thirty percent of the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) 2008 interns came from our program. Of 182 commercial music graduates (2006) in California, 25 were from Mt. San Jacinto College. MSJC's Audio Program attracts students nationally and internationally. (E.g.  Japan and Mexico.)
